Hebrews 12:11 “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it”. Came into the office today and there was “the counter”. It is a countdown clock. 93 days, 23 hours and 50 minutes till the start of the race when I walked by it this morning. I will watch that count down and feel the day get closer and closer. Ever notice how people work better if there is a deadline. Ever notice how soon they give up if they get to far behind. Ran 3.5 miles this afternoon. Did some quarter mile splits to work on speed. Want to keep a run in there even though I am trying to rest the ankle. Treadmill day. Ice everywhere outside and very cold.
We're here to raise $100,000 for Haiti. Contribute to us and help provide clean water, medical care and food for the people of Haiti, still struggling more than a year after the earthquake. Join THREE Marks and pledge to support them as they conquer 13.1 miles each running the OneAmerica Mini Marathon.
