Ran 5 miles this morning at a 10 minute mile pace. That is faster than I will run the mini but is the usual pace I go normally for shorter runs. The run on the day after a rest day is always great. However, I do not like running that much but I do like what it does for me physically. An I pod is a wonderful tool. You can put your favorite tunes on and get lost especially on a treadmill. This morning I listened to Chris Tomlin. I have fallen in love with running and worshiping through song, all at the same time. I have listened to a lot of other music, pod casts and books. Nothing compares to getting into a good comfortable pace and getting lost in the words and music of worship. My thoughts are directed and for the time I spend building physically, I spend time building in faith. Try it you’ll like it.
Please pass runmarkrun.net to as many people as possible! See you tomorrow.
Story from Haiti
NWHCM staged an emergency response team of medical professionals in the early hours after the quake that served in Port-au-Prince with partner ministry, Mission of Hope. Along with the care, NWHCM was able to provide a truckload of medical supplies, medicine, a generator and a large army tent to house refugees and patients. Â NWHCM has also assisted the two major hospitals in their zone with trucks full of medicine and equipment, along with 50 mattresses to help handle the overflow of earthquake victims.
We're here to raise $100,000 for Haiti. Contribute to us and help provide clean water, medical care and food for the people of Haiti, still struggling more than a year after the earthquake. Join THREE Marks and pledge to support them as they conquer 13.1 miles each running the OneAmerica Mini Marathon.
