Wilkerson Here:  Looked up earthquakes in the on-line Bible search engine of -Biblegateway.com.  I used the New International version and Matt 24:7, Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11 scored the word “earthquake”.  The message was: Nations would rise against Nations, Kings would rise against Kings, famines and earthquakes would be signs of birth pains and signs from Heaven.  After reading the three accounts from the beginning of the chapter (you should, too), the conclusion is based in this ending.  He/She who stands firm, will be saved.  That means that when the world happens around us, stand firm in the Gospel and no matter what, we will be saved if we count on Jesus and God’s plan of redemption.  These type of events should strengthen our resolve to build up one another and waste no time in telling others about “the good news of Jesus”.  Your money to Haiti will offer medical help, food and water along with “Living Water” to those who need and will listen.
