Spiritual Prep

We are preparing to leave for Haiti.  I can’t begin to tell you how much the calls and email from friends, believers and just general encouragement, have meant.  We probably under estimate the power of encouragement.  It is sweet and brings joy, comfort and builds endurance in people.  Let’s all keep in mind the encouragement we receive by the scriptures and the grace of God in who we hope everlasting.  Ask in prayer that our jouney will be and encouragement to the people who are giving their lives to the Haitians and to the Lord. That we may be good ambassadors for Him.  In Him, Amen

Training Prep

Was able to get up early and do a quick hour on the elliptical.  I will get a break day tomorrow.    Eating better and training rather than just doing it for health has really let me dropped the weight.  Last night was down to 174 lbs.   Don’t think I have been that low in 10 years.  Not sure if I will get a training run while we are in Haiti, but hope so.  Taking my stuff.
